MUSLIM AID REBUTS FALSE ALLEGATIONS IN THE DAILY TELEGRAPH

In a statement the CEO of Muslim Aid Syed Sharfuddin said:
“Muslim Aid firmly rebuts the baseless allegations made against the premier British Muslim Charity in The Daily Telegraph (Tuesday, 2nd March 2010). As one of the UK’s largest faith-based international relief and development charities, Muslim Aid only provides support to bonafide and lawful organisations. The Charity has an impressive record of delivering aid over 25 years to regions of the world where humanitarian assistance is desperately needed.
Muslim Aid deals with organisations irrespective of race, religion, gender, nationality and political affiliation and has an outstanding reputation within the international development sector for delivering aid and helping to alleviate poverty.
