Muslim Aid Headquarters in the UK

Muslim Aid contributed to the British Red Cross appeal and recovery work by raising money for the thousands of people around the country who have lost their homes and belongings due to floods in June 2000.

In addition to this, representatives from Muslim Aid visited children in the flood-affected town of Wakefield in Yorkshire to distribute toys and hampers, courtesy of Mothercare and Woolworths.

Age Concern Tower Hamlets

Muslim Aid is also working with Age Concern Tower Hamlets to provide a Handyperson service to elderly people across Tower Hamlets. The service provides elderly and less able bodied people with help around the home. DIY, plumbing and paint work are just a few of the household chores that the Age Concern team helps to provide every day.
