DONATE NOW. DONATE NOW. DONATE NOW. DONATE NOW.DONATE NOW.
Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah,
Muslim Aid welcomes you to the beautiful and blessed month of Ramadan 1429/2008. It is an opportunity to gain increased rewards through fasting, reflection, prayer and charity. We hope and pray Allah accepts our efforts. Ameen.
It is also a the month to remember our brothers and sisters around the world who are experiencing immense hardship and suffering as a result of earthquakes, famine, drought, floods, war and conflict.
Muslim Aid's Ramadan campaign is also addressing the food security crisis, which forms part of the first Millennium Development Goal (MDG) to “eradicate extreme poverty and hunger”, agreed at the United Nations Millennium Summit in September 2000.
Giving a handout simply is not enough. Muslim Aid also works to provide long term solutions. With the help of your donations we can provide farmers with seeds and teach them simple farming techniques so they can grow their own food.
We appeal to you to take advantage of this month, and gain the increased blessings of Ramadan associated with helping those in need by supporting Muslim Aid projects all over the world. Please visit our website to find out more about our Ramadan programmes and all our other work.
Lastly, I ask you to remember in your dua’s the orphans and widows, the elderly and the sick, the poor and the needy and all those who are working hard to serve them in these last days of this blessed month.
Please come and visit our brand new Ramadan micro site which is packed with information to give you a healthy, happy and blessed Ramadan. There's tips for fasting, fundraising ideas, Ramadan across the world and how you can help Muslim Aid feed those who go hungry everyday,
So please come and join us and get involved in what we do.
Make a difference this Ramadan and help us to End Poverty. Fast
Wasalaam,
From all the staff at Muslim Aid.
