Muslim Aid Sanctions £320,000 for Community Development Projects in 12 Countries

On 21 July Muslim Aid sanctioned £320,000 for funding 24 community development projects in 12 countries.

The projects cover a wide range of sectors comprising of microfinance and income generation schemes, maternity and child healthcare, water and sanitation, a mobile library, taking working children from streets to school and summer camps for disabled and refugee children.

The CEO of Muslim Aid said: “We have a responsibility to ensure that Muslim Aid helps people in need by using the resources that have been placed at our disposal by our donors for the alleviation of poverty and empowerment of communities”.

Through generous donations, Muslim Aid has been delivering projects for over 25 years to help save and improve the lives of millions in developing countries.
