This short documentary shows the experiences of the Muslim Aid team in Gaza in May 2009 and highlights how your fantastic support is providing long term livelihood and educational projects that are changing lives. Nour El Marefa

Muslim Aid was delighted to hear of the hopes and aspirations of many of the 285 children at Nour El Marefa School who had been affected by the conflict.  Many had lost their homes or loved ones which had caused severe behavioral and learning difficulties. However as Wfr Jaba, an English teacher at the school explains, many children have made Vast improvements and are now getting good grades and enjoying school again thanks to your support.

Gaza Water Plant

In February 2009, Our 'Evening for the children' of Gaza raised over £300,000 for our water rehabilitation plant in Jabalia which is providing clean water for 250,000 people. In Gaza, we saw children coming from their homes and filling up buckets and bottles of water from the water tankers outside the plant. See our interview with Bilal al-Burj, Manager of the National Foundation of Improvement and Development, who oversees the project.
