Pakistan Floods
Raging floods have swept through northwest Pakistan, causing death and destruction on a disastrous scale. More than 1,600 people have been killed so far and some 15 million affected by the devastation.
Niger Crisis
Lack of rainfall has caused a serious drought destroying many people’s crops and livestock. In some areas, harvests have been completely wiped out leaving families hungry and destitute.
Kyrgyzstan Appeal
Muslim Aid has launched a £100,000 urgent appeal for food, medicine and emergency supplies. Muslim Aid, whose partners are already assessing the situation on the ground, has made an initial allocation of £20,000 to provide emergency assistance.
