Post Pakistan Floods – Model Villages
The devastating floods in Pakistan last July claimed many lives and washed away people’s homes and possessions. Muslim Aid was there delivering emergency aid including tents, food, water, and medical aid to flood victims.
In addition to emergency relief, Muslim Aid is working on longer term projects to help rebuild the lives of people made homeless by the floods. The Muslim Aid Model Village Project aims to provide quality housing for families who have lost everything. Also in each area the project aims to restore community life through the building of schools, mosques and medical facilities.
Work is already underway in the following areas:
Mianwali, Punjab: 90 new homes to be built, with 19 homes near completion.
Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa: 90 new homes to be built.
Jampur, Punjab: 110 new homes to be built.
Dadu, Sindh: 110 new homes to be built.

THEY STILL NEED OUR SUPPORT
We are urgently appealing for funds to provide permanent shelter to people that have lost their homes in Tatha, Sindh. Our aim is to build 150 new homes each with two bedrooms, a kitchen and toilet. Each home will cost just £1,750 to build on land that has been donated for the project.
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar (Radhiallahu anhu): The messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, " Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection." Sahih Bukhari - Volume 3, Book 43, Number 622.
Donate now to provide a homeless family with a permanent shelter. Thank you.
