Give As You Earn (GAYE) Scheme
If you are an employee paying taxes through PAYE, you can increase the value of your donations using this scheme. By having your donations come straight from your gross pay before tax, you effectively increase the value of your contributions. That means more money for Muslim Aid, at less cost to you. So, a donation from you of £10.00 (gross) actually only costs you £8.00 – £2.00 coming from Inland Revenue. If you pay tax at the higher rate, then the actual cost to you would be only £6.00. Please approach your employer to include you in the GAYE Scheme, or, if you need any help, just phone our Donations Department on 020 7377 4200, and we will be happy to assist you.
