Muslim Aid is a British, faith-based international development organisation that provides support to communities around the world affected by disasters, conflict or endemic poverty without regard to their social, religious, or ethnic background.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover an internal secondment. The Regional Programmes Coordinator (South Asia) will provide support to allocated country offices across the South Asia region delivering effective programmes on time and on budget and aligned with the Muslim Aid Global Strategic Plan as well as the Country Strategic Plan and annual Work Plan Budget.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
You will be an exceptional, experienced and qualified International Development professional with a thorough understanding of development programmes design, implementation and evaluation. You will have experience of monitoring and evaluating programmes and dealing with institutional donors and international donors. Specifically, you will have experience of working on emergency and/or disaster preparedness programmes in developing countries as well as experience of at least one of the specialised areas of livelihoods, education and MNCH.
If you are self-motivated, with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy this role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Programmes Coordinator to be able to support the International Programmes Department in leading and developing the South Asia Region. You will be joining a supportive, highly-skilled, passionate organisation as a specialist in your field.
