This week saw the feed the fasting programme being implemented in Myanmar. Around 210 Rohingya refugee and internally displaced families were given food bags to help them through Ramadan. Beneficiaries included orphans and widows.
The distribution was delivered at the Set Tha Ma Gyi Camp in Sittwe, Rakhine State, Myanmar. Further distribution of food bags will take place during the last ten days of Ramadan.
Muslim Aid aims to reach 15,000 refugee and Internally displaced people in Myanmar with the feed the fasting programme.
