Up to 10,000 people have lost their lives after the third major disaster to hit the Philippines in the last two months. With thousands still missing, the death toll is expected to rise even further.
Described as “one of the most powerful storms to make landfall”, over 20,000 homes have been damaged, livelihoods destroyed and hundreds of thousands have been displaced.
The people of the Philippines are now in a desperate situation, struggling to survive without food, shelter and clean drinking water.
