Lose a Few Pounds, Donate a Few Pounds

“Every mile makes it all worthwhile”.


Ramadan 2015 has sadly come to an end, just like the majority of most of our tried-and-tested diets.


Following the recent celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr (not to mention the feasts), some of us are really packing a bit of a paunch around the middle lately. But fear not! Muslim Aid is here to help. You won’t have to waddle about in that baggy (it’s “oversized”, actually!) shirt any longer because it is time to burn off all those extra pounds (plus a fair few samosas).


So dust off those old gym trainers and join Muslim Aid in the Muslim Charity Run 2015 (previously called Run 4 your Mosque). Popularly known as the community “fun run”, grab all your family and friends and come and run with us to help raise funds towards a good cause.  


The 5km run will begin in Tower Hamlets’ Victoria Park on Sunday 9th August 2015 at 10.30am. Whether you are looking to kick-start a healthier and fitter lifestyle, you are incredibly athletic, or you just love a good challenge; take this awesome opportunity to get involved whilst raising funds towards a good cause too.


Please note, any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult. The run is for male participants only. However, there will be plenty of entertainment on the day for families and friends who wish to come along to support the contestants.


So, it’s time to run for your life…or rather, for someone else’s!
