On behalf of Muslim Aid, I extend the warmest and most heartfelt Eid Greetings to all of our donors, supporters, partners, volunteers and staff both in the UK and overseas.
May Allah Almighty bestow His abundant blessings upon you and your loved ones on this auspicious occasion, and throughout the year. Ameen. This year, Muslim Aid asked you to ‘Be The Change’ for the poor, the suffering and the vulnerable around the world. It is a matter of great satisfaction that Alhamdulillah thousands of generous supporters responded to the call and supported our emergency relief projects in Syria and Myanmar, and provided generously for our child support programme, poverty alleviation campaign, Ramadan Feed the Fasting programme and development activities. What can be more rewarding than the knowledge that by the mercy of Allah you have been the change to countless individuals who were desperately in need around the world this Ramadan. You will never be forgotten in their duas, and indeed, none of you will be forgotten in mine.
I pray that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala accepts all of our efforts in Ramadan and grants us peace, prosperity, success and the means and ability to continue our humanitarian work throughout the world with your support and benevolence, Ameen.
Eid Mubarak & Wassalam, Dr Manazir Ahsan Chairman – Board of Trustees
