EID-UL-FITR MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN OF MUSLIM AID

On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I would like to convey, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff & volunteers of Muslim Aid, heartfelt Eid Greetings to you. May Allah the Almighty shower His choicest blessings upon you, your family and friends, Ameen.

On this joyous occasion, let us also pray for those who are suffering due to poverty, hunger, conflicts and natural disasters. This year we have witnessed new and ongoing conflicts which devastated the lives of millions of people across the globe. We also observed the affliction of the people engulfed by intractable conflicts in, Syria, Myanmar, and Yemen as well as internally displaced people and refugees struggling for their survival. I pray to Allah Almighty to grant us courage and strength to continue helping these people in every possible way, Ameen.

We would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to all of our Field Offices and Partners who are implementing Muslim Aid’s Ramadan programmes for the benefit of all our beneficiaries. This has been made possible only through the generous support of our donors. May Allah the Almighty accept their sacrifice and reward them abundantly, Ameen.

May Allah grant peace and prosperity to all.

Wassalam & Eid Mubarak

fao: br.manazir ashan as salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu. bro, manazir, I am presently in Guyana, south America. since my arrival last week, I have had conversations with a few people who have suggested that the activities of muslim aid in this country are biased in favour of traditional muslims,(,in some cases racism describes the behavior).who do not seem to care about the development of new muslims, projects to assist new muslims, affairs of prisoners who are muslims and youths who do not come from certain groupings. kindly look into these allegations and if necessary make better. ma salaam, sr. adeela (brixton, london)
