It is with great sadness that we learned today that our dear brother, Junaid Jamshed, has passed away.

A tragic plane crash in Pakistan took the lives of 47 people today, one of whom was a beloved pillar of the Muslim community and a celebrated humanitarian across the globe.

Muslim Aid’s CEO, Jehangir Malik, said: “Junaid Jamshed’s work touched millions of people across the world. While we mourn his passing, we must look back on his exemplary work and life as an inspiration to future generations. Today he, his family and the families of all those on board will remain in our thoughts and prayers.”
