Message from Muslim Aid on Laylatul Qadr- The Night of Power

In the last ten days of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world seek out Laylatul Qadr or the Night of Power after breaking their fast.  In the Quran it is stated that good deeds performed in this special night through fasting, prayer and charity giving are equal to those performed over a thousand months.

As Ramadan comes to an end, Muslim Aid urges its donors to search for this blissful night and remember the poor and the less fortunate in their prayers. Those most deserving of their charity are the orphan and destitute children, the widows, the elderly, the internally displaced persons and the thousands of refugees who have left their homes and countries in search of food and security. By supporting Muslim Aid, our donors can help those affected by conflict and disasters in Syria, Myanmar, Palestine (Gaza), Somalia and Sudan. There is still time to reap the reward of good deeds in Laylatul Qadr, as well as being the change for thousands of people in need around the world.

Donors can gain ongoing rewards by choosing one of the many Sadaqah Jariyah (recurring charity) projects of Muslim Aid.  To provide ongoing support to those in need around the world, donors can make a one off donation of their Zakat dues, sign up a direct debit for £3 a month, sponsor a child for £25 per month or leave a legacy for any of the charitable projects in a country of their choice.
