About the role: 

We are looking for a full-time or part-time Copywriter Intern to join our Communications team, based in London. The internship will ideally be for three-month period, starting in March 2019.

This is an excellent opportunity for either a student or graduate seeking a career in Media/Marketing/Communication within the development and humanitarianism sector to gain solid experience and develop their skills.

The Copywriter Internship position is responsible for supporting the Marketing, Web, Fundraising and Social Media teams during one of the busiest periods in the calendar – Ramadan and Qurbani. Muslim Aid are committed to building a relationship with our supporters and this position will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal.

This position will allow the successful candidate to gain skills and working knowledge in design, web, film, photography, advertising, print and social media content creation within a friendly and creative team as well as learning how to apply those skills within the humanitarian sector.

As an Intern you will be well supported throughout and integrated into the staff team.

About you:

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about development and humanitarian work and hold or be working towards a degree or post-grad qualification in a relevant subject, such as Communications, Journalism, English etc. You will have proven excellent writing ability, use of expressive language, accuracy and perfect grammar.

Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed up to £15 per day, according to Muslim Aid volunteer expenses policy,
