What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a full-time or part-time International Programmes Intern to join our South Asia Programmes Team. This is an excellent opportunity for either a student or graduate seeking to start a career in development and humanitarianism, gain solid experience and develop their skills.

Successful candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about development and humanitarian work in general and within International development. She/he will be assisting and supporting the South Asia team of wide range of projects. This will include:

  • Creating a project brief for each ongoing project in South Asia.
  • Conduct research on facts/data on South Asia Countries to highlighting main humanitarian and development needs. 
  • Research on funding trends for South Asia
  • Review and appraise project proposals.
  • Review and analyse project budgets.
  • Support in developing in South Asia Strategy.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship for 1 month however, we will reimburse travel and lunch expenses according to Muslim Aid volunteer expenses policy.
