Help us serve humanity!

We are looking to recruit a pool of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for our 2017 Live Appeal Team. As part of this team, you will help us change the lives of those in need.

You need:

  • Good clear spoken English.
  • Good listening skills.
  • A polite, helpful, sensitive and patient telephone manner.
  • The ability to learn and use new software quickly.
  • An ability to speak and/or understand Urdu, Bengali or Hindi (desirable).
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment (desirable).

Your role:

You will be providing a friendly frontline service to donors by taking donations over the phone and processing them on the ThankQ system. 

You will get:

  • Training on customer service and our in-house donations system, ThankQ.
  • An opportunity to meet new people and make new connections.
  • Refreshment and snacks throughout the night and a delicious Iftar (food eaten to end the fast) and Sehri (food eaten before the fast begins) to keep you energised.

Your Future:

We have had candidates join us as Live Appeal Telephonists for only a few weeks, secured other positions as a result and progressed on senior roles as Senior Officers, Managers or Head of Department.
