Muslim Aid is a British, faith-based international development organisation that provides support to communities around the world affected by disasters, conflict or endemic poverty without regard to their social, religious, or ethnic background. 

What youll be doing: 

The International Programmes Department (IPD) is a large, busy, multi-functional team at the heart of the work of Muslim Aid in the UK and internationally.  The Programmes Support Assistant will support the administrative work of the International Programmes Team.  

As a Programmes Support Assistant, you will provide overall support and assist the team to achieve its objectives by ensuring effective, efficient and quality administrative assistance including, but not limited to: 

  1. Compiling and producing regular content from successful programmes for web and internal stakeholders.  

  1. Leading on departmental efforts to systematically compile programme data from Country Offices  

  1. Providing programme and administrative assistance to other regions as required including support with the development and production of project proposals. 

  1. Maintaining and updating the Status report file including all relevant documents such as, field reports, centrally agreed documents, case studies etc. 

  1. Supporting with drafting and circulating meeting agendas, attending meetings and note-taking, circulating minutes and papers to the department. 

  1. Supporting on administrative needs for programme events such as workshops and training. 

  1. Supporting the monitoring and capturing of MA Country Office budget income and expenditure requirements
