Muslim Aid’s annual Ramadan Campaign is our biggest, busiest, most exciting time of the year where we raise essential funds to alleviate poverty around the world. During Ramadan we focus on a number of projects including feeding the fasting, providing welfare for orphans and children, responding to emergencies as well as being a virtuous opportunity for people to pay their annual Zakat (charitable donations) and contribute to Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity). None of this would be possible without the dedication, support and time of our Muslim Aid Volunteers.
This year, volunteers helped us make it one of Muslim Aid’s best campaigns yet. From organising their own events, helping out at our UK wide mosque tours, shaking a bucket at collections and that all important job of painting the town green with the colours of Muslim Aid (not literally!) – There’s always an opportunity for everyone to get involved.
