The month of Dhul Hijjah is the final month in the Islamic calendar. During this time, it is considered an obligation from the Sunnah for Muslims who hold an amount greater than the level of Nisab to give Qurbani as an act of worship, as shown by the example of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
Dhul Hijjah is set to begin on 7 June 2025, with Hajj taking place from 14 June and the Day of Arafah is expected to be on 15 June. Qurbani Eid 2025, or Eid ul-Adha, begins on 16 June and ends on 18 June.
