Summary of Role
The key purpose of this role is to support the UK & International Management Accountant to ensure accurate reporting of all UK & International financial information with systems, processes and controls operating effectively.
About the Role
Reporting to the UK & International Management Accountant, the role key responsibilities are:
- Day to day management of accounts payable and receivable
- Management of UK & International Payments
- Responsible for UK month-end process including accrual, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations and assisting production of UK & International Management Accounts with variance analysis
- Supporting production of Statutory Global year end accounts
- Assist in maintenance of financial control, processes, and system
- Finance lead on interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers and providing training to all new budget holders
About You
To be successful in this role:
- Degree level education
- Part Qualified Accountant / Accounting Technician (AAT)
- Proven experience of working within a Finance team
- Experience of Month End Process and Management Reporting
- Experience of producing information for business cases or funding applications
