Since 1991, Muslim Aid has been carrying out Qurbani for poor and vulnerable communities in Bangladesh. In 2014, over 45,217 people received fresh Qurbani meat, including widow, Majeda Begum in Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
Majeda relies heavily on her son to look after her as she has no income herself. But life is a struggle for the entire family as her son has five dependents he also looks after on his meagre labour salary. They cannot afford to buy meat so when Majeda received Qurbani from Muslim Aid she was delighted and sent her blessings to her donors.
