Field Offices and Regional Action

Muslim Aid established a dedicated field office in Sudan to coordinate sustained programming across Africa. When a major cyclone struck Bangladesh, the charity sent emergency relief and began constructing cyclone shelters; convoys also delivered food and medicine to Kurdish refugees.

Thousands of Somali refugees in Ethiopia and Kenya received over 200 tonnes of food from Muslim Aid, while long-term initiatives such as agricultural development in Bangladesh, education in Afghanistan, water and rehabilitation in Uganda, and primary healthcare in Indiawere scaled up.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
