Zakat for Gaza

1 million people in Gaza are on the brink of famine and 2.2 million are facing acute malnutrition. The situation in Gaza means your Zakat is needed more than ever before.

People are starving at a rate never seen before in history. Your Zakat can be a lifeline for your brothers and sisters in distress.

Those who give to charity (their Zakat) night and day, secretly and publicly, receive their recompense from their Lord; they will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

(Quran 2:274)

Every second counts

Currently, 1.5 million people are seeking shelter in Rafah, an area of only 25 square miles. In cramped, squalid conditions they cower under the noise of relentless air strikes, mourning the loss of loved ones and traumatised by six months of brutal violence.

Aid blockades have continued to restrict the amount of food that can reach them. Water and sanitation are near to non-existent and disease is spreading rapidly.

Every day, children starve to death whilst their parents look on, exhausted and helpless.

With no end in sight to their suffering, the people of Gaza are in desperate need.

Your Zakat is more than just charity

Your Zakat is more than just charity – it is an obligation we owe to people living in the most painful and terrifying conditions. It can relieve their hunger and give them the strength knowing you are there in their hour of need. Your Zakat donation today can save lives in Gaza.

Together, we’re saving Gaza

We’ve been on the ground since October 7th providing lifesaving aid. From providing cash grants to widows, bread to orphans and water and shelter to the courageous people of Gaza.

This is an emergency situation of immense urgency

The scale of the situation cannot be underestimated. More people are now dying every day in Gaza than in any other major 21st century conflict. This is a human rights and humanitarian catastrophe.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “Do not show lethargy or negligence in giving alms and charity till your last breath.” (Bukhari).

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
