1994 – Bosnia & Wider Development

Bosnia & Wider Development

Throughout the Bosnian conflict Muslim Aid averaged one truck of emergency aid per week and had sent 1,000 tonnes of relief supplies by April. The charity expanded rehabilitation and child support programmes including foster care and orphan welfare in Tuzla and traumatised child support in Sarajevo.

Longer-term development grew to account for around half of allocations, with skills training, Qurbani distributions and support for refugees and survivors across Africa and Asia.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
