Last week, members of our HQ team travelled to the remote regions of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains to visit the areas that have been most affected by the earthquake that took place earlier this month.
On the last night of the visit, the Imam of a village in the remote Atlas Mountains wanted to congregate for a heartfelt dua. They started off with reciting Surah Al-Zalzilah and to our surprise, rather than making dua for their own recovery, they made dua for all of us who have been donating and helping them through this crisis.
The fact that they were in need of their own prayers, but chose to pray for us instead was enough to leave us in tears; and the dua itself was powerful and beautiful.

The crisis isn’t over and those who survived the earthquake are now worried about if they’ll make it through the winter season.
