Muslim Aid distributes 2,000 meals a day in starved northern Gaza

Array

Muslim Aid is operating in the almost impossible to reach region of northern Gaza, distributing 2,000 meals a day during the month of Ramadan.

Currently northern Gaza is being starved and cut off from aid. Apart from airdrops, which locals have said are futile, they are struggling to find food and water because of a brutal blockade being imposed on them.

Over the last weeks, images of skeletal bodies and people starving to death in northern Gaza have gone viral. This is exactly where we are operating right now.

Despite the challenges and difficulties, Muslim Aid is delighted to announce that thanks to its 38 years of experience, reputation and logistical expertise in navigating emergency situations has allowed us to Serve Humanity in the north of Gaza.

Despite our trucks still entering Gaza and being able to navigate such difficult circumstances, aid continues to enter Gaza at the slowest pace we’ve ever seen.

While you continue to support Muslim Aid’s humanitarian work, please continue to write to your MP in calling for an immediate and permeant ceasefire and for the opening of humanitarian corridors.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
