In partnership with Muslims Without Borders, Muslim Aid has been helping to support many IDPs and local civilians currently residing in makeshift homes after fleeing conflict in Syria. Providing essential items, such as lentils, rice and pasta, food packs will feed an average sized family for an entire month, giving them the nutritious benefits they require throughout this stressful period.
Since conflict broke out in 2011, the Syrian Arab Republic Government has estimated that 3million people in Syria are now internally displaced. In addition to the refugees that have fled to neighbouring countries, they are in desperate need of food, shelter and care, especially through the harsh winter periods they are now faced with.
