Every day, thousands of women across the world live in poverty and have to deal with the effects of issues such as violence and homelessness. Many of these women are stuck in impossible situations, without a voice to speak up for themselves or the means to escape their current position. Put simply; these women need our help to get the better quality of life that they deserve.
International Women’s Day is the perfect platform from which to spread awareness about women in need. Charity-giving allows us to reach out to as many women as possible and provide aid to those who desperately need our support.
The occasion falls on March 8th every year and was first organised in 1909. For the first few years, the event acted as a rallying point for women to organise demonstrations around the world. Amongst other achievements, these demonstrations helped women finally get the right to vote.
With such a strong history, it only fits that International Women’s Day continues to be a beacon of hope for all of the women in need across the world.
Our campaigns focus on providing essential aid and assistance to men, women, children and families who need a helping hand. We aim to help disadvantaged people find their footing and work alongside them to create a better life for these individuals and their families. Our goal is to reach out to as many people as possible – after all, it is often the hardest to reach who are the most in need of our assistance.
We then work to understand each individual’s needs and requirements; providing them with essential supplies like food, clean water, clothing, shelter and medical supplies, before working with them to rebuild their lives and give them the means necessary to improve their current situation.
Our purpose is to deliver aid where required, but also to provide these women with the tools they need to regain control of their lives. We aim to support and assist people in need around the world in whichever way we can; working towards a better future together.
However, we are unable to reach these people without your support. Generous and selfless, charity giving is a great way to do our bit and help those less fortunate than ourselves.
