In support of our Rainbow Family Programme, a Henna Art Workshop was held at the Muslim Aid Office on Saturday 27th April 2013.

Conducted by a professional Henna Artist, the workshop featured sessions on how to create your own henna mixtures as well as the art of henna designing.

On the day, a short presentation was shown to highlight the challenges faced by many children around the world who lack the most basic necessities and to also show the importance behind supporting such initiatives.

Asma Ahmed, Rainbow Family Programme Officer facilitated the event, "It went really well and the participants were impressed by the work that Rainbow Family is doing. They were happy to find out that their contribution to the Child Support Programme will make such a big difference to someone's life. They enjoyed the event so much that they asked to be invited to any future workshops that we may have planned".
