Aminata, Sierra Leone

Ebola is one of the worst deadly viruses in modern history. The disease claimed over 800 deaths in Sierra Leone and also affected 2,000 in May 2014. Muslim Aid managed to reach over 600 family members whose homes were quarantined with Qurbani distribution in 2014. Aminata Kamara fro Sierra Leone lost her husband to Ebola.

She said: "I lost my husband to Ebola and I did not even see his grave. Nobody came near me after all this ordeal. The food supply is not enough to my family. The medical team never sent us meat. I thank you for this meat and May Allah reward you here and the Hereafter"
