Halima, Kenya

For the past four years Halima Abdi has been living at the Dagahley camp, Kenya. She fled the war in Somalia to escape the violence and find sanctuary. She has no livelihood and is struggling to get by. Halima is a mother of four children; her last born daughter is disabled and needs special care. When she received Qurbani from Muslim Aid she was delighted that she could finally feed her family with meat which is a rarity for them.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
