Muharram 2023

Muharram marks the beginning of the Islamic year and is one of the four ‘Sacred Months of Allah.’ The scholars have explained that all good deeds carried out in this month have a greater reward! Reap the rewards of this sacred month and help those in need.

This Muharram is yours, theirs and ours.

The Sacred Month of Allah

Muharram is also known as Muharram-ul-Haram, and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) referred to it as ‘The Sacred Month of Allah’.

One of the four sacred months mentioned in the Quran, Muharram is a truly blessed time. All acts of worship and good deeds performed during Muharram will earn extra reward and weigh heavier on the scales.

Reap the rewards of this sacred month and help those struggling to stay alive.

Be like the Ansar of Madinah

In this month, let’s remember the generosity and sacrifice of the Ansar of Madinah who welcomed the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions when they migrated from Makkah, leaving everything they had behind for the sake of Allah (swt).

Let’s also remember Prophet Musa (as) and Imam Hussain (ra) for their commitment to help relieve hardship and oppression.

This Muharram is yours, theirs and ours

By giving in the way of Allah (swt) this Muharram, you can alleviate the hardship and ease the suffering of our Ummah.

From providing lifesaving aid and medicine to protecting grieving orphans and widows living in poverty, from giving safe water to drought affected communities to distributing essential food for families in desperate need.

This month belongs to us all – Muharram is yours, theirs and ours.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
