When the Gujarat earthquake struck India — the worst in a century — Muslim Aid provided £500,000 in emergency relief, supporting both immediate rescue efforts and longer-term rehabilitation. In Pakistan, Muslim Aid supported the opening of a specialised computer training centre at the country’s first all-women Islamic university, advancing women’s access to digital skills.
