2002 – Partnerships & Inclusion

Partnerships & Inclusion

Muslim Aid strengthened regional partnerships and inclusive programming: the Vice President of Gambia inaugurated a Muslim Aid–funded school for the blind, while the British High Commissioner opened MA-funded labs and computer rooms at the Tayyibat School in Tanzania. The charity co-led a Southeast Asian NGO alliance of 22 organisations to pool resources tackling poverty at scale.

Emergency medical responses continued: Muslim Aid, UNICEF and WHO provided medicine and personnel to treat cholera survivors in Kismayo, Somalia, underpinning the charity’s growing role in coordinated humanitarian action.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
