2010 – Street to School & Maternal Care

Street to School & Maternal Care

Muslim Aid began its Street to School project in Pakistan, enrolling 200 street children into formal education. The organisation delivered antenatal care to 1,000 rural Pakistani women and supplied over £130,000 worth of medical equipment to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

The devastating earthquake in Haiti saw MuslimAid raise over £350,000 and after providing much needed emergency relief get to work on planning long-term sustainable development in the country.

2010 marked Muslim Aid’s 25 years of service with renewed commitments across health, education and livelihoods.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
