Relentless monsoon rain has triggered severe flooding and landslides across Bangladesh, leaving communities cut off, homes damaged and families in urgent need of support.
More than 1 million people have been affected across seven districts, including Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban and Rangamati. At least 51 people have already lost their lives, while tens of thousands have been forced to take shelter after floodwaters submerged homes and villages.
Roads have been washed away, farmland destroyed and livestock lost, leaving many families without food or a source of income. Access to clean water, healthcare and sanitation has become increasingly difficult, raising concerns about the spread of waterborne diseases as heavy rainfall continues.
