This winter take on the virtual run challenge to provide winter packs for families around the world.
with all the gyms closed and being stuck at home has made it really difficult to exercise, but what better way to keep fit then to run for charity!
Choose your day your own route or run from the comfort of your home on a treadmill.
whether you want to run 5k, 10k, 15k, this winter push yourself to your limits!
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we have not been able to do any of our usually events but we still have time to do something this year so why not take on the challenge, do it with a family member or challenge a friend to take on the virtual run with you.
Keep them alive, keep them warm. Help them survive this Winter.
As the cold weather sets in and temperatures drop, millions of vulnerable people are at risk. The change in weather brings a new threat. Without adequate shelter, warm clothing, blankets, heating or food - freezing to death is a possibility. Having fled war and persecution, fighting against poverty and being forced to live on the streets, millions of people in need across the world have no protection against the cold.
Freezing nights, snow, harsh winds and ice on the ground will only claim more lives. Children, the elderly, the homeless and those dealing with long-term illness will lose their lives to hypothermia, pneumonia and starvation. Many will not survive to see the warmer days.
Our Winter Appeal will ensure that those in Syria, Gaza, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Pakistan, UK and around the world can make it through this winter with hope, warmed by your generosity.
Don’t let them suffer this winter. Donate now and you can beat the cold to save their lives.
