Goldman Sachs Muslim Network | Sudan Emergency Appeal

This Ramadan GSMN are raising funds to support some of the most vulnerable and remote communities in Sudan. In this fragile and volatile environment, access to medical care is often the difference between life and death.

24 million people are suffering from food insecurity, including over 635,000 experiencing famine. 12 million displaced since April 2023including 4 million fleeing to neighbouring countries. Conflict, poverty, and famine are pushing Sudan to the edge. Without urgent intervention, thousands will die.

Muslim Aid has been in Sudan since the 1990s, through conflict and recovery. With an established office, we are working with the World Food Programme (WFP) to serve emergency food aid.

Right now, our teams are delivering lifesaving aid across Sudan, supporting 175 health centres in Khartoum and Al Jazeera.

With your support, we are providing:

  • Lifesaving food
  • Emergency hygiene kits
  • Nourishment to malnourished children
  • Building a solar powered water tank

This is a Zakat-eligible campaign, and every pound you give helps provide a family with the support they desperately need.
