This Ramadan, I have pledged to raise £10,000 to help finalise one bread factory in Gaza. Every donation made through this page will go towards supporting this vital project and expanding bread production for families facing extreme hardship.

Why This Matters

Millions of people in Gaza are facing severe hunger and food insecurity. Around 93% of the population is experiencing crisis-level hunger, with many families struggling to secure even one meal a day.

Bread is a staple food and, for many families, it is often the only reliable source of nourishment. It provides essential calories and nutrition for children, the elderly, and vulnerable households.

Through the Muslim Aid Bread Factory initiative, bread is baked and distributed daily to families, shelters, and community centres across Gaza. So far, the project has helped provide hundreds of thousands of loaves to tens of thousands of Palestinians, including gluten-free bread for those with specific dietary needs.

By helping finalise and sustain a bread factory, we are supporting continuous production — ensuring families can receive fresh bread consistently during an ongoing humanitarian crisis.

In Gaza, starvation isn’t a risk, it’s a deadly reality that is killing people every single day. More than 200, including 101 children, have already died from hunger. Malnutrition is at the highest level ever recorded, with families going without food for days.
