A Well for Abdijabar — Sadaqah Jariyah in His Memory

This fundraiser is in loving memory of my brother, Abdijabar Adan, who suddenly fell ill and passed away at just 36 years old.
Abdijabar was a great brother — full of love, always there for his family and friends. His passing was sudden and has left a huge gap in our lives, but I wanted to do something that would carry on his good in this world.
I’m raising money to build a deep water well to provide clean, lasting water to a community in need. This is Sadaqah Jariyah — ongoing charity — meaning the reward continues for Abdijabar for as long as people benefit from the well, InshaAllah, long after we’re gone.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Sahih Muslim)
Please give whatever you can, and keep Abdijabar in your duas. May Allah grant him the highest ranks of Jannah and make this well a source of continuous reward for him.
