GIFT OF LOVE

This Eid Muslim Aid will be gifting Eid Presents to children in hospitals across the UK. 

These children were living normally and having Eid with their friends and family until they fell ill. Unfortunately due to covid, the children are not allowed to mix or have any guests, therefore they’re always lonely and don’t get to mix with their friends and family anymore. 

These children were used to celebrating Eid with their loved ones, playing, getting gifts and so forth, this has all been stripped away from them. Unfortunately the hospitals do not make an effort for these children on Eid. The only celebrations or gifts these children get are xmas, Easter and so forth, which many of them didn’t believe in before their admission.

As adults we get so happy and grateful when someone buys us a gift as we love to believe they remembered us and thought of us. This Eid help us buy gifts for these brothers and sisters so that they also can feel loved and remembered. 

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) will say on the Day of Resurrection:
“O son of Adam, I fell ill and you visited Me not. He will say: O Lord, and how should I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so had fallen ill and you visited him not? Did you not know that had you visited him you would have found Me with him?” Hadith 18, (40 QUDSI)

Due to the Covid19 restrictions we cannot physically visit the children as they are high risk, but a way we can is to send them gifts and messages through charities like MuslimAid. 

Please give what you can and spread love, happiness and give the children a moment to take their mind off their illness.
