Information: The Egyptian-controlled Rafah crossing is Gaza’s main lifeline for humanitarian intervention. Located on Gaza’s southern border with Egypt and has become the focal point of efforts to deliver humanitarian aid and allow injured people and foreign passport holders.
In normal times more than 400 trucks go into Gaza daily - through various routes - to supply 2.2 million people.
The Ambulances Muslim Aid are procuring include the following:
• Storage units that offer space suitable for medical devices
• Oxygen tubes, tanks, and pressure regulators
• Built to accommodate difficult climate conditions, right hand drive vehicle
• Stretcher – to transport patients and injured people to receive medical treatment
• Vehicle health check
• Transportation of vehicle to Rafah border.

The brutal attacks on Gaza have killed nearly 30,000 people and injured over 68,000. More than 1.8 million residents of Gaza have been forced to flee their homes with nowhere to run that is safe.
