My father, Mr. Mohammad Afsar Ali, is imprisoned in Dinajpur District Jail due to a fraudulent lawsuit. He had taken a loan of BDT 400,000 and provided a blank check as collateral. However, the opposing party manipulated the check to reflect an amount of BDT 5,000,000 and used it to file a false case against him. This led to a court ruling that unjustly sentenced my father, forcing him to pay this enormous amount, which is beyond our capacity.

My father is elderly and in critical health, suffering from diabetes and the aftermath of a stroke. His condition has worsened significantly in prison, and we fear that he may not survive this ordeal. Adding to our grief, my grandmother passed away shortly after learning of his imprisonment. We could not even inform my father of her death due to his fragile condition.

Our family is struggling financially and emotionally. We are unable to afford the bail amount or legal expenses to fight this case. We have reached out to various organizations, but no solution has been found.
