Safa’s plea for Turkey/Syria

Assalamu Alaikum!

Your attention is so appreciated right now because the situation in Turkey and Syria is so dire, that they need our help and support immediately.   

As I’m sure you already know, a massive earthquake hit the region earlier this week and the destruction has been overwhelming!  Thousands of people have died (current figures stand at over 21,000 people and rising), homes have been destroyed, families torn apart, and thousands are homeless, hungry, and in need of urgent medical attention. It's a truly devastating and heartbreaking situation. 

This is a time for us to come together and show our humanity. Today I am appealing to you on behalf of Muslim Aid, a charity I have been with for the past 15 years. Muslim Aid has time and again been noted for its international aid work and we are one of the most trusted charities when it comes to emergency relief.

Muslim Aid responded straight away and has been distributing ready to eat food, warm clothing, cash grants and tents. But soo much more is needed and so I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea to support Muslim Aid’s emergency work by donating however much you can! Big or small every penny will count! 

Please, I urge you, join me in supporting our Turkish/Syrian brothers and sisters affected by this disaster.

Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal

Two deadly earthquakes of 7.8 and 7.6 magnitude struck Southern Turkey and Northern Syria in February. Tragically, over 50,000 people were killed and another 10,000 injured. Buildings and residential blocks were pulverised while people lay asleep.
