Running for Palestine - Sanaa

Salam and welcome! My name is Sanaa and I am running the London Marathon on behalf of Muslim Aid. I have ran the Los Angeles Marathon and I'm excited to run again this year on behalf of a cause very dear to my heart.

One third of Palestinians live below the poverty line, and after more than 15 years of blockade and violence the 2 million residents of Gaza have been plunged into abject poverty. 80% of the population rely on aid to simply survive. With food, medication, water and electricity supplies at an all-time low, the rising number of Coronavirus cases is threatening to overwhelm an already fragile healthcare system.
