Palestine Emergency Appeal

Heartbreaking images are emerging from the Holy Land yet again this Ramadan. Let's defend Al-Aqsa and stand with the people of Palestine. I have teamed up with Muslim Aid who are on the ground currently to support our brothers and sisters.

Money raised will go directly to the Masjid Al Aqsa emergency fund and the worshippers. Funds will be used to:

• Restore and repair damage caused to Masjid Al Aqsa
• Al Aqsa Zakat Fund to be distributed to the poor and needy in and around the holy site
• Provide water and electricity in the holy site
• Pay for the maintenance of the Library and Visitor Centre
• Support the staff of the Masjid including Imams and Scholars
• And finally, this fund will be utilised by the Masjid Al Aqsa management where they deem the need is greatest.

My personal target is £5,000 - focusing mainly on Sadaqah contributions for Al-Aqsa repair works and Zakat contributions for the poor and needy Palestinians within the area.
