Assalamu alaikum dearest family & friends,
I need your help. I am raising £10,000 this Ramadan to send urgent food aid through Muslim Aid to our brothers and sisters in Gaza, who have been living through 15 months of unimaginable pain, loss, and devastation.
During the war, we could only do so much because of border closures, but Alhamdulillah, with the ceasefire now in place, we finally have a chance to make a difference. We can send larger amounts of food to families who have been struggling to survive for far too long.
Ramadan is the month of giving, and Allah reminds us in the Qur'an:
مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا فَيُضَـٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥ وَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ ﴿١١
Who is it that will lend to Allah a good loan which Allah will multiply ˹many times over˺ for them, and they will have an honourable reward? [Surah Al-Hadid, Aya 11]
Let’s not delay in doing good. If you can donate, even a little, from your Zakat or Sadaqah it will go a long way and help us deliver many trucks of urgent food aid into Gaza. And if you can’t, please share this with others who might be able to help.
